Patrick is the Owner and "Lead Instructor" of Current Boating Education.
He is currently a certified Marine Patrol Officer for over the past 15 years and has over 25 years of boating experience.
Patrick is considered by attorneys as a "content expert" and has previously testified in Connecticut Superior Court regarding multiple various boating cases.
He has completed the highest level of advanced complex boating accident investigation courses offered at the federal level by NASBLA and holds "Boating Accident Investigation" Level 1 & Level 2 certificates along with "Boating GPS Forensics" advanced certificate.
A current State of CT DEEP Certified Boating Instructor for over the past 15 years.
He is also a National Safe Boating Council certified "On-Water Boat Control" Instructor.
A current marine law enforcement officer with a local police department and previous Chief of a multiple town funded municipal law enforcement marine patrol unit.
Patrick attended Tunxis Community College for Criminal Justice.
He brings a legal environment skill-set, marine law enforcement, professional knowledge and advanced recreational boating knowledge to each and every course.
A licensed boater since Connecticut went mandatory to obtain a license/certificate. Patrick also is a licensed boater in California & Florida. Current active TWIC clearance holder. (TWIC is required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act for workers who need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. TSA conducts a security threat assessment (background check) to determine a person’s eligibility and issues the credential.)
Angel is a native of Puerto Rico and now resides in the central Connecticut area.
He brings a rich and diverse background to the boating community. Angel translates our boating courses from English to Spanish.
He is an experienced PWC operator and enjoys teaching students the safe and legal way to operate while enjoying the waterways on PWC's.
Angel attended Naugatuck Community College in Waterbury. He enjoys going out on local Connecticut rivers and lakes on his SeaDoo PWC.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his two daughters along with playing basketball and traveling the shoreline looking for good seafood.

John holds almost every accolade available from the highest government and boating related agencies.
A well distinguished and seasoned captain with over 40 years of boating experience.
John tours the country performing on-water training for the National Safe Boating Council.
This includes training law enforcement agencies with marine units from across the country.
John is retired from the State of Connecticut DEEP as the supervisor of the boating division.
John also is the retired Chief of the Lake Houstaonic Authority - Marine Patrol Unit (LHAMP). A multi-town municipal agency.
John is currently a State of CT Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) and a prior Paramedic.
John enjoys teaching life saving techniques to utilize on the water and instructing coastal navigation.
Bill is currently a Sergeant on a multi-town municipal agency as a Marine Patrol Officer.
Bill holds over 25 years of boating law enforcement experience and over 25 years experience as a federal law enforcement officer.
A current State of CT DEEP Certified Boating Instructor, he is also currently a member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA).
Bill enjoys educating people on the most current boating laws and regulations.
He also is a Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor, and he enjoys shooting in his free time.
He is a former US Federal BOP Supervisor, Lead Firearms Instructor, & Crisis Support Team Manager.
Bill enjoys educating people on real world situations and events which have happened on the water which he responded to.
Jim is a well distinguished lifelong boater, fisherman and sailor.
He currently holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Master Captain License and is a current State of CT DEEP Certified Boating Instructor.
Jim has 38 years as a Mechanical Design Engineer and holds several U.S. Patents in the marine industry.
He is a veteran with on-water boat deliveries from Virginia to Maine. He also holds over 25 years of experience as a Master Instructor both on-water and off-water. Conducting training in close quarters maneuvering, new vessel orientation and basic and advanced navigation.
Previously Jim was the Marine Patrol Officer for the Town of Madison, CT Police Department. He served as the Board of Trustee's for the Branford Yacht Club which is he still a member. Attended the CYBA Professional Yacht Broker School.
He has also previously been a captain of a 47' flush deck utility vessel, and 58' boom utility vessel.
Joanne has been actively involved in the boating community since 1990.
For the past 33 years she has distinguished herself through numerous achievements in ongoing marine education and instructor duties.
Joanne is a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary where she acquired many hours of on the water training in boating safety, seamanship, and navigation skills.
She brings her knowledge and personal experience to the classroom, and encourages women to become confident, capable boaters.
Joanne actively holds a U.S. Coast Guard Captain's License, as well as a U.S. Sailing Instructor's certification.
Joanne presently owns and sails her 26 foot sloop on Long Island Sound.
"Safety and knowledge are top priorities" she says, and focuses on these elements in the classroom.
