The OUPV/Six-pack Captain's License is required for those wishing to offer fishing and sailing charters, drive a dive boat, or run sightseeing tours, etc. Commonly referred to as the "6-Pack license," this permit allows the holder to take up to six paying passengers and crew on the water.

The 100-Ton USCG Master's License is the highest level license that you can acquire. This license allows you to operate inspected vessels (7 passengers or more – like a water taxi or dive boat) or uninspected vessels. Depending on your experience, it will be issued as a 25, 50, or 100-ton master license. The Coast Guard does not require that you advance through the different licenses one at a time. So, if you qualify, you can go straight to a Master's level as your first license!
The course is for those who wish to upgrade their existing OUPV/Six-pack to a Master level license. Depending on your experience, it will be issued as a 25, 50, or 100-ton license. The Master level license is required to operate an inspected vessel that carries seven or more paying passengers.
The Deck License Renewal course provides mariners an opportunity to renew their U.S. Coast Guard License. Certificates that the Coast Guard will accept in place of actual time on the water will be awarded upon completion.
The UCSG Sailing Endorsement is required if you want to operate an Inspected Sailing Vessel. This sailing captain's license endorsement allows the licensed Master to carry 7 or more passengers while under sail on an inspected vessel.
The USCG Towing Endorsement is required if you will be engaged in towing a disabled vessel for payment, such as the activities of a US Sea Tow or Tow Boat operator. Any USCG license of 200 gross tons or less, including an OUPV/Six-pack License, may be endorsed for assistance towing.
